About the work
I mainly work on paper, experimenting with techniques associated with painting, printmaking, photography, and cleaning. I’m interested in depicting fluctuations in scale and detail, influenced by sensations of psychological or atmospheric change, like sunlight or love. I consider the camera as an eye that is more capable and more tolerant than my own. This work is called Red and was made whilst organising/moving around piles of photographs and papers in the studio.
