About the work

This work is part of a series of drawings which reflect on the mundane domestic acts involved in being a new parent. Specifically, in this work the repetitive activity of hanging washing. Drawing the drying washing enables a reflection on the passing of time. As I wait for things to dry, moments of creativity are snatched in the domestic landscape.
All my work begins with line drawing. In the studio, these works in pencil are reworked in oil on paper from observation and memory, allowing me to rediscover forms and develop different spaces within the pictorial space within my painting.

This is called Popcorn Bidding or Bidder Extension and gives all bidders an equal chance of winning.

Maximum bids

You are more likely to be the winning bidder if at the outset you place a maximum bid i.e. the maximum amount you are willing to pay for the work. Your maximum bid is not visible to other bidders. If another bidder exceeds your maximum bid you will receive an automatic notification. If you have placed a maximum bid the auction site will automatically place bids on your behalf, but only as much is necessary to make sure that you remain the highest bidder, until it reaches your maximum bid. These automatic bids are placed in increments, as shown above.
